We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity to enhance your child’s learning both at home and school. This year, Bournville Infant School has adopted the Purple Mash scheme of work. In school, this will provide the children with curriculum coverage for Computing by teaching them the skills they need according to the National Curriculum. It also provides a huge selection of activities, games, creative tools and learning resources across the wider curriculum, including reading, writing and maths.
The best part about the scheme is that it is also available for you and your child to access at home. We have sent home a login card containing your child’s details and the weblink for access at home (www.purplemash.com/bournville-infant). You can also access the weblink through the Purple Mash tab below. The login cards are important as they contain the information for your child’s account only, so keep them safe or stick them in your child’s reading diary. Once you’ve logged in, your child can begin to access a whole world of possibilities available from Purple Mash’s extensive tool suite. From time to time, your child’s class teacher may also assign them homework tasks to complete, which will be visible when you log in. If you have any questions about Purple Mash, please feel free to ask your class teacher, or come and see Mr Hall.
