Swans Class Blog Spring 2 Week 6

By Katie Glover on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in News. No Comments

Good afternoon Swans,

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

So this week we came to the end of our ‘Homes’ topic. In our history lesson we looked at the history of George Cadbury and what he created for his workers. The children worked in groups with a variety of college materials to create the Cadbury factory, our school, houses, green spaces and the swimming pool.

In maths we have been learning all about capacity and volume. In English we have been focusing on where to put capital letters and full stops in story writing, as well as using the conjunction ‘and.’

We have come to the end of swimming lessons now and I’m sure the children have thoroughly enjoyed them.

It was great to see so many wonderful Easter bonnets on Friday, thank you for your help at home.

See you all tomorrow for the start of arts week.

Love Miss Glover x
