Hello Bumblebees

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. We have had another busy week. This week we have been using our phonic knowledge to label a picture and write sentences. You have all enjoyed playing the ‘Feed the Shark’ game and I was pleased to hear you reading some tricky words too. In Maths we have been ordering numbers and using language such as ‘before’ ‘ after’ and ‘in between’.

On Tuesday we celebrated Chinese New Year which was so much fun. Some of you used chopsticks to count out objects. We used small world animals to act out the story of the race.

This week we said goodbye to one of our pets Roger. He was Georgio’s friend. You wrote some lovely messages about him.

Next week we have our play and learn session on Friday and Miss Ransom is looking forward to welcoming your grown ups and showing them all the amazing learning you have been doing.

Remember you can use Sumdog at home. Your login details are in your reading diary.

Love from Mrs Gohil and Miss Ransom x

I was sad to say bye to Roger. I really enjoyed playing games, doing my SumDog at home and reading my books!

I enjoy doing phonics at school. My favourite sound is ‘t’. I am excited to get a new word card. But skipping is my best thing to do. From Anna xxx
