Good Evening Swans,
I hope you have all enjoyed your weekend.
Firstly, it was lovely to see so many of you at the Harvest Festival on Friday. All of the children were very well behaved and they sang beautifully. As part of this weeks RE lesson the children wrote thank you poems to identify all of the things they are grateful for. Lots of them said food, mommies and daddies!
This week we have done lots of learning around a story called Whatever Next by Jill Murphy. The children have been writing about space and the main character in the story, Baby Bear. We have also been getting very messy with pastels and paints to create planets and space scenes. All the children’s art work looks fabulous in the classroom!
The children have been using purple mash on the ipads by themselves. They all have a purple mash and sumdog log in details in the front of their reading diaries for them to access at home.
See you in the morning Swans,
Miss Glover x
