Hello everyone, and welcome to the penultimate blog post of the year! How time flies… it doesn’t seem a moment since I was writing the first back in September.
Just a quick blog post this week to say a big WELL DONE to the children for making it through the performances of our summer show, The Jungle Book! We had a dress rehearsal for the rest of the Infants, three morning shows for parents and an afternoon show for Year 3 in the Juniors, and they performed brilliantly each and every time. They spoke so clearly, sang beautifully and danced their hearts out, and in the end gave a truly fantastic show.
Thank you parents and carers for assisting with learning lines and providing costumes; myself, Mrs Brown and the rest of the Year 2 time always appreciate your support, and the end result was certainly something special!
In the last week, we will be collecting all reading books in (sharing books included), so please scout around this weekend and send in anything that may have been lurking at home! We will also be sending the children’s school books home on Thursday, so if you could send in a sturdy carrier bag on that day it would be appreciated.
On Monday at 9.00, we will be having our leavers assembly, which parents and carers are invited to attend to give the children one last send-off before they head up to the Juniors after the summer holidays.
Thank you for reading this week – I will see you on the last Monday of the year!
Mr Hall 🙂
