Swan Class Blog Summer 2 Week 6

Hello Swans!

So we were all feeling a little bit down on Thursday after England’s World Cup game! However, all the children really enjoyed the football tournament we had during our PE lesson on Wednesday afternoon.

In English, the children were introduced to a new story called “How to Find Gold.” They only heard a small part of the story everyday and they were really excited to hear more! From the story, the children have designed treasure maps, wrote character descriptions and thought about what they would need to go on a hunt for gold. The children will finally get to hear the whole story on Monday which they are all looking forward to.

In our PSHE lesson, the children expressed how they are feeling about moving to year two next year. They also got to share their favourite memory from year one. Some of these included; winning sports day, our royal wedding class assembly, the Chinese pop up restaurant and the visit from the animal man.

Don’t forget we have our final swimming lesson on Monday so please bring your swimming kit to school.

Have a lovely weekend Swans.

Only one more week as a Swan!!!! (Love from a very upset Miss Glover! x)
