Welcome to this week’s Beech learning blog, We’ve had another busy week in school, with Sport Relief as well as our usual learning.
In Maths we have begun our work on fractions; finding a half, quarter and thirds of shapes and objects. In English we have been learning the history of the Great Fire of London and Samuel Pepys. I was blown away by the knowledge we had about it!
In art we have finished painting our own ‘Scream’ backgrounds and next week we will be adding the burning buildings and our very own twist..
I can’t quite believe we are round to the last week already! We will be issuing new spellings, holiday reading books and updated targets for writing and maths before the holidays, so please remember to send in reading diaries and homework books next week. We will be trying to fit as much learning as usual into just 4 days!
Don’t forget Thursday is the Easter service and the Easter Bonnet parade, I look forward to seeing you all there. I hope you all have a well-earned rest over the weekend, and I’ll see you on Monday.
Lots of Love
