Robin class- Autumn 2 Week 7

By Hannah Spencer on Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Year 1. No Comments

Hello Robins!

We had a jam packed week of learning- not to mention your fabulous Christmas performance. I was so proud of all of you; you acted, sang and danced with confidence and huge smiles. Well done!

In English this week we looked at the suffix -ed and we wrote some sentences using some -ed words. For example, I skipped all the way to school. Can you think of any words that have -ed at the end? You all really enjoyed Maths this week because you had the chance to show off all of your learning in a Maths quizz. In PSHE this week we had a lovely lesson looking at the things that make us all special and unique. We had a great discussion about how we are all different and that’s what makes the world so interesting.

I can’t believe that next week will be the final week before we break up for Christmas. We have such a lovely week to look forward to with the Christmas service at the Church, party day and lots of exciting festive activities. Remember to bring in your red homework books next week so I can stick in your new targets. Thank you!

See you all tomorrow.

Love Miss Spencer x
