Ladybirds: get ready for another busy half term of learning!

By Kate Bailey on Sunday, February 21, 2016 in News. 7 Comments

Hello everyone, we hope you have had a lovely half term with your families and have enjoyed the good weather this week (in between the showers!). We have another exciting half term ahead of us. This week we are starting our work on doubling; can you think of any ways to double numbers to five? What strategies could you use to help you? We will also be writing number sentences. Can you remember what these signs mean:  ‘-‘, ‘+’ and ‘=’? Maybe you could practice writing some addition and subtraction number sentences at home? We will be having our excellent P.E lessons with Mr Coley on a Monday now, so don’t forget your P.E kits tomorrow.

Looking forward to see you and hearing all of your news,

Love Mrs Owens & Miss Ransom   xx
