New year off to a flying start in Ladybird class!

Wow Ladybirds – we have been so impressed with how you have settled back into the new term and how you have been working and trying so hard. Over the past week we have been using ‘Numicon’ we find different ways of making ten. We have also been adding two numbers by combining two groups of objects and ‘counting on’ from a given number to add another amount. Can you tell your family how to do this? Remember to put the first number on your head and then use your fingers to count on to find the answer.

Love from Mrs Owens & Miss Ransom xx
